Everyone knows a chain and sprocket set will last longer if you keep it well maintained, but not everyone wants to go to expense and trouble of fitting an automatic oiler that connects to the bikes vacuum or electrical system. The TUTORO Chain Oiler kit (Top Up, Turn On, and Ride Off) provides a very simple alternative and is an easy to fit economical solution.
No wiring is required, or indeed any connections to to the bike's other systems. You simply decide where you want to mount the device and route the oil delivery pipe to the chain. The simple to use flow valve allows you adjust the rate of oil delivery from a 'quick flow', right the way through to a drop or two a minute for long distance touring.

Everything that you need is in the kit, no special tools are required, fitting takes about 30 minutes - all you need is the oil!
Please note that the TUTORO systems will happily dispense almost any oil but specifically formulated chain oil is best. You can also use either STD 10/40 or 20/50 motor oil and chain saw oil also works well too.

Capacity = approx 8ml oil
In a test done at 10°c with 10/40 motor oil a TUTORO was
set up to deliver 1 drop per minute, this emptied the 8ml
reservoir in 5 hours.
Dimensions
The TUTORO unit measures 110mm from the top of the reservoir cap to the bottom of the delivery spigot.
Nozzle Guide
We have found that some bikes are more difficult to fit a Twin Feed Nozzle to than others simply due to the proximity of the mounting bolts to the outer circumference of the sprocket.
When fitting a Twin Feed Nozzle please refer to the diagram in the fitting instructions to ensure such difficulties are minimised.
